A DRIVE AWAY
Buffalo Creek
Located an 80-minute drive from Colorado Springs, plan for a long day. Lots of trails to choose from, with many options for loops. Good bike-handling ability and excellent endurance required. "Big bang for your buck" with this ride, for climbing effort gives big rewards in long and sustained downhills. The Colorado Trail runs through this area. Tailgating possible in the welcoming parking lot.
With two guides, can combine advanced with intermediate rides. Dirt roads run through the area, making novice rides with lovely lunch spots possible.

OIL WELL FLATS
Approximately 15 miles of relatively technical terrain located about 60 minutes south of Colorado Springs. Full suspension, advanced skills required for the technical loop. Great place for working on your technical skills - super fun if you like rocks! Another place with great overlooks!
With two guides, can combine advanced loop with intermediate option.

CAPTAIN JACKS/TUNNELS
Up a railroad-grade, dirt road and back down a loose gravel singletrack trail with stunning views. Ride through and hear the story of the haunted tunnels on the way up. This loop is best after, or even during, the rain to make the surface tackier. Loose gravel on Captain Jack's requires good bike-handling skills and BRAKES!

FALCON TRAIL
14-mile loop located entirely on the grounds of the Air Force Academy. "Big bang for your buck" ride with long downhills. Also a great loop to run, with a hiking trail to waterfalls close by. Spend a day at the Academy - explore the bombers, visitor's center, and unique chapel.
Visitors must enter the Air Force Academy at the times permitted.

CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN STATE PARK
21 miles of trails and varied terrain means lots of options for riders. Trails open to runners and hikers as well. Could easily make a day of it with the visitor's center and shaded pavilions. Camping available by prior reservation.
Great family picnic spots! There is an additional fee, per vehicle, to enter the park.

PALMER PARK
Many unmarked and unnamed trails means it's easy to get lost! In the heart of Colorado Springs, it's also easy to ride a different loop every single time you visit the park. Heavily used by runners, hikers, bikers, and horses. Your guides will determine the best loop to correspond with your time parameters and riding ability. Lots of techy options available!

RED ROCKS
For groups of various ability levels, can combine novice skills clinic in the bike park with another person on a more advanced technical route. Stunning views of the red rocks in the area give this place its name. A few new trails, built by mountain bikers for mountain bikers, just opened. Super fun!

UTE VALLEY
All level of riders, runners, dog walkers welcome! New advanced technical trail just opened in 2016, is not yet on map, makes for a great ride as long as you like rocks. Another great place to work on skills at all levels. With two guides, can combine advanced with more novice rides or skills clinics.
