PIKES PEAK PLUMMET
Pikes Peak is the wondrous and iconic mountain of Colorado Springs - wouldn't it be great to ride singletrack all the way down?! It is possible, but be prepared for a long, difficult day at high elevation, where severe weather is always a distinct possibility. For advanced riders only! The ride down Pikes Peak combines some of the best local trails for one heck of a day in the saddle: exposed and technical Elk Park Downhill to the famous Barr Trail, then the new Missing Link trail just completed in 2018 to Jones Downhill and Captain Jacks. End the ride there or continue further down the Chutes or into Red Rocks.
Note: Logistics are challenging and require both a guide and shuttle driver to drop riders near the top of Pikes Peak. Additional fee required to enter the Pikes Peak Highway.
