My name is Jack Falender. I will be a sophomore at Air Academy High School in the fall 2023. My favorite place to ride in Colorado Springs is Ute Valley Park. My favorite trail in UVP is Nachos. I also love to go to the bike park in Snowmass and I’m getting better at my downhill skills. I love to ride anywhere, except for roads and I’m so happy I get to live in Colorado.
I am a junior racer on the Gnarly B’s Bike Team and have done three races so far. In my first race the “Fangdango” in 2021, I finished 11th out of 47 racers! I have done 2 other races, which were both 12 hour sunrise to sunset races. These races were really fun and helped me meet new people.
I have gotten really into MTB in the past two years and have taken almost all of Stacy’s classes. They have helped me improve my skills and significantly improve my confidence. Stacy also helped me overcome a loss of confidence last season after an injury. I am so glad to help with these classes and am very happy to help you progress too.
