CAPTAIN JACKS/TUNNELS


​Up a railroad-grade, dirt road and back down a loose gravel singletrack trail with stunning views.  Ride through and hear the story of the haunted tunnels on the way up. This loop is best after, or even during, the rain to make the surface tackier.  Loose gravel on Captain Jacks requires good bike-handling skills and BRAKES! ​
Novice:  ride up the road, through the tunnels, down road
​Intermediate:  same but include Buckhorn and Captain Jacks
​Advanced:   same but add loop through Red Rocks
